Editorial: Reasons to be thankful in 2022
As the new year begins, I want to thank God for all of the blessings that I have been given during the past year and throughout my life.
I am incredibly thankful for my family. I am grateful for my life. My life is a blessing to me and my family.
For this reason alone, I’m especially thankful for every single moment in every single day of every single year that I’ve been alive. All of the things that I have done, all of the things that I have seen, and all of the things that I have been given.
My husband and I met when we were 24-years old—at a church in my city, and we ended up in love shortly after. Two days after we first met, our lives were completely and utterly changed. I’m so happy that God brought us together.
I’m thankful for the love of Jesus Christ. My husband and I have always been passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with each other, and this has only grown stronger as we have been together for eleven years.
I’m grateful for my friends and family. This past year, we have been faced with some significant challenges that have made our routine and lifestyle more hard to manage. We have been strengthened through the trials of life and have been reminded of the strength that only Jesus has. I’m grateful for our friends and for all of the support that they have given us. We are truly thankful for each and every one of them.
I am grateful for my job. I love what I do. I am humbled by the responsibility that comes with my job, which is to provide a quality product, service, or product line to the public.
I am grateful for the opportunities that I have had throughout my career. I have come to know what it feels like to be a part of something big. I have come to know how hard it is to make a difference and how important it truly is to have impact on the lives of people.
